POLICE NAB SUSPECTED CULTIST AT APC RALLY
The operatives of Kwara State Police Command have apprehended a suspected cultist identified as Safi Abolaji aka Ojulari, during a political rally of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at Ojuekun Sarumi area, Ilorin, Kwara State.
Information available indicates that the suspect who had two locally made short guns with cartridges and some terrestrial charms revealed his identity as a member of the Aye confraternity after he had been overpowered and gripped by a public-spirited person and policemen.
Meanwhile, the suspect was recently released from prison after he had served at a correctional facility.
Investigation is in progress to affirm his motives and to apprehend other members of his cult group.
