Just like what Obama did in America without having structure, LP has also done the same in Nigeria – Gabriel Suswam
According to Senator Gabriel Suswam, a former governor of Benue State and senator for the Benue North East senatorial district, if the Labour Party can repeat its success from the recently held general elections in 2023, it will alter the political landscape of Nigeria going forward.
Senator Gabriel Suswam discussed the Labour Party’s performance in an interview with Focus Nigeria.
“The Labour Party invasion was completely unexpected. Regrettably, contrary to expectations, Labour has only so far been able to elect one governor, as opposed to the five or so governors that were elected during the presidential election.
Since Labour has demonstrated to Nigerians that it is possible to have someone emerge who will win this election, much like Obama did in America, without necessarily having the so-called structure that we politicians take pride in, I believe that the dynamics in Nigerian politics will be completely different if what happens with Labour continues.
