Police Arrest Man with Homemade Gun in Lagos

A 33-year-old man has been apprehended by the Lagos State Police Command in connection with the possession of a locally fabricated semi-automatic pistol.

The suspect, identified as Adegun Aboderin, was detained during a routine stop-and-search operation in the Abule-Ado area.

The arrest occurred at approximately 6 a.m., according to the spokesperson for the Lagos State Police Command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin. The officers, conducting a standard security check, discovered the weapon in Aboderin’s possession, leading to his immediate arrest.
