Barr. George Turnah MON condoles With Godfather Dr. Goodluck Jonathan Over Sister’s Demise

The Executive Assistant to the Bayelsa State Governor on Public Affairs and Social Orientation, High Chief (Barr.) Alabh George Turnah, MON has condoled with his Godfather, His Excellency Former President, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, GCFR, over the demise of his elder sister, Madam Obebhatein Jonathan, fondly called Amissi by her close relatives.
George Turnah who paid a condolence visit to the former President in Yenagoa, urged him and members of the family to take solace knowing that Madam Obebhatein is resting with her maker.
According to him, although, death is inevitable, but the loss of a very dear and close relative particularly in the kind of relationship the former President share with his elder sister, could result to a huge shock.
He therefore further called on his godfather the former President to be encouraged by the firm legacies of Madam Obebhatein, who he said dedicated her life in the service of God and mankind, adding that such legacies were worthy of emulation.
George Turnah, MON also prayed for God to comfort the family of the former President and give them the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
Highpoint of the visit was the signing of the Condolence Register.
