The Nigeria Youth Forum has summoned the security agencies of Nigeria to arrest Omoyele Sowore for defaming the Honourable Ned Nwoko of Aniocha Delta State on this day, 30th January 2022 at Abuja, Federal Capital Territory.
In a telephone conversation with Comr. Frank Joshua who is the leader of the group, he vehemently rejected all the allegations put on set by Sowore. He reminded Nigerians that they should recall that his group has for times without number calling Sowore to consciousness of what he is doing which is absolutely immoral.
He said, “Sowore should have it in mind that he will not gain fame if he continue this way for he should remember that defamation of characters is an offence under the Nigerian Criminal Code.
Criminal will surely face the wrath of law hence he should be arrested by the Nigerian security agencies so that he will not spoil the good repute of Nwoko and other eminent politicians”.
Comrade Frank claimed that Nwoko is loved by all in his hometown and beyond thus the earlier claim of Sowore that the man is doing harm to the community is entirely bogus.
He advised the law officials to be watchful and vigilant of what the citizen utters against the other.
“Arrest Sowore! I repeat, arrest him or we sue him. The law agencies should kindly watch out for fake claims by political animals and get them arrested. We won’t tolerate spoilage against each other. Nwoko is white please!”
