NIMC boss Odusote named as potential replacement as Tinubu shops for Betta Edu’s successor

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is reportedly considering the Director General/Chief Executive Officer of the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), Abisoye Coker-Odusote, as a potential replacement for the suspended Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Betta Edu.

Amidst allegations of financial impropriety surrounding Edu’s suspension, sources indicate that President Tinubu is actively exploring alternatives for the ministerial position.

According to Daily Times, Abisoye Coker-Odusote, an engineer and one of President Tinubu’s political appointees, is said to be among the individuals suggested for the role.
