Adeleke expressed confidence in winning the Osun State election if it free and fair.
Ibekimi Oriamaja Reports.
Ademola Adeleke, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate, has expressed confidence in winning the Osun State election on July 16th.
Adeleke stated in an interview with Arise TV that if the election is free and fair, he will win by a landslide.
He also accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) of dispatching thugs from Lagos to disrupt the election, alleging that they were shooting in various locations throughout the state.
The state government, according to the former lawmaker, denied the opposition party access to the facilities where the mega rally was scheduled to take place on Thursday.
He went on to say that Osun State’s people had rejected the ruling party (APC).
He claimed that “thugs from Lagos State have been sent to shoot in the state by the APC.”
“It will be a landslide if the election is free and fair.” The APC has been rejected by the people of Osun State.”
Adeleke claimed he couldn’t attend the governorship debate because he was too preoccupied with his campaign.
