Atiku Abubakar Storms Imo For 2023 Presidential Campaign

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has arrived in Owerri, Imo State, for the party’s presidential campaign.
The former vice president arrived with his running mate, Delta State Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, and some party stakeholders, according to Track News.

The main opposition party’s presidential campaign is being held in Owerri, Imo State, at Heroes Square.

The PDP is hoping to reclaim the state in the 2023 general elections after losing the governorship election in the state after the Supreme Court ruled that the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Hope Uzodinma, was the rightful winner.

Emeka Ihedioha was the PDP’s governorship candidate in the state at the time.

Atiku and his entourage are in Imo State to rally support for the presidential election.

Atiku was greeted at the airport by Aminu Tambuwal, Governor of Sokoto State and Director-General of the PDP Campaign Council, Iyorchia Ayu, National Chairman of the party and former Governor of Imo State, Ihedioha.
