Gov Umahi assures that APC, presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu will take care of Igbos if elected
Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State has assured All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate Bola Tinubu that if elected, he will look after Igbos.
He made the assurance during the inauguration of the Ebonyi Governor’s Lodge in Abuja on Wednesday.
Umahi assured Tinubu that the APC would win the South-East in 2023.
He stated that the assurance reflected the position of other South-East governors.
Tinubu was also promised a massive presidential campaign rally in the state by the governor.
“As a result, we welcome Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and the governors to Ebonyi State for the mother of all rallies.” When you come, Your Excellency, you will see what an engineer is capable of.
“We are not afraid to say that you are our candidate, that you will look after the people of the South-East, and that all of our votes will go to the APC.” There is no doubt about it.
“We have spoken, people of the South-East. “I speak on their behalf as Chairman of the South-East Governors’ Forum,” he said.
The Governor stated that the APC would retain control of the South-East in 2023 because “it would be better for us.”
