Reno Omokri, a social commentator, has suggested that if Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, is elected, he may be impeached.
Omokri predicted that Obi would be impeached within days of being sworn in because the LP does not have enough Senators to back him up in the Upper Legislative chambers.

Omokri urged Obi’s supporters to vote for the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, in a Facebook post.

The Atiku supporter pointed out that Obi and his running mate, Datti Baba-Ahmed, have been PDP members since 2019.

Omokri claims that:

“At PDP, we adore Obidients. You remind us of our grandchildren. We created Peter Obi and Yusuf Baba-Ahmed, and they created you.

“A stream cannot deny its origin.” We are the river that feeds you, and you are the stream.

“In fact, Obidients should vote for Atiku because even if they vote for Peter Obi and he becomes President, which is highly unlikely, he won’t be able to serve in that capacity without Senators in the Senate.”

“He could be impeached days after being sworn in.”
