Our Court Case Has Convinced Us That Atiku Won Election Based On The Case We Have In Court – Dr. Tokunbo Pearse
Dr. Tokunbo Pearse, a prominent member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and former governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in 2019, has recently given his opinion on the ongoing petition against President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the Presidential Election Tribunal in Abuja
It should be noted that the Independent National Electoral Commission declared Tinubu, the former Governor of Lagos State and National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, as the winner of the presidential election. He defeated strong contenders such as Peter Obi of the Labour Party, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party.
Obi and Abubakar, the presidential candidates of the Labour Party and the Peoples Democratic Party respectively, have challenged Tinubu’s victory in the tribunal. The tribunal has been hearing these cases for a few weeks now.
In an exclusive interview with The Sun paper, Dr. Tokunbo Pearse expressed his views on the matter. He stated that President Tinubu has already been honored with the highest honor of GCFR, appointed service chiefs, and is representing the country internationally. According to Pearse, removing him now would be a difficult task. He believes it is too late for any significant changes to occur.
