Kidnappers kill Bauchi legislator’s son

Bala Ali, the eldest son of a Bauchi State House of Assembly member representing Dass Constituency, was killed by suspected kidnappers.
Ado Wakili, a lawmaker from Burra Constituency, revealed this during the House’s sitting on Tuesday, September 27, presided over by the Deputy Speaker of the House, Danlami Ahmed Kawule. According to Abdul Burra, the Spokesperson for House Speaker Abubakar Suleiman, the lawmaker who expressed his condolences to the Members following the murder of his colleague’s son described the incident as “tragic,” and prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive the deceased and grant him Jannatul Firdaus.
According to Track News, the speaker also announced that lawmakers would pay a condolence visit to the member and his family immediately after the plenary.
