Ligue 1: Lorient boss talks up Moffi’s superb goal against PSG
By Adeleye Kunle
Lorient manager, Regis Le Bris, has showered encomium on Terem Moffi after the Nigerian scored a superb goal in his side’s 2-1 defeat to champions, Paris Saint-Germain on Sunday afternoon.
Moffi, who recently returned to action for Les Merlus proved his worth against the star-studded PSG side.
The 23-year-old dashed through several markers before rifling home with his favoured left foot to cancel out Neymar’s opening goal for the visitors.
PSG later won the tie courtesy of Danilo Pereiro’s 81st minute strike.
“What an action, what a goal!,” the Frenchman said, praising Moffi after the game.
The forward has scored nine goals in 13 league appearances for Lorient this season.
