EPL: It’s up to Man City to answer – Thierry Henry rates Arsenal’s title chances
Arsenal legend, Thierry Henry, has said the club has what it takes to be in the Premier League title race this season.
Henry was at the Emirates on punditry duty for the Gunners’ 3-1 win over West Ham on Boxing Day.
The result means Mikel Arteta’s men are now seven points clear at the top, having played a game more than champions Manchester City.
“Now it is up to Man City to answer,” Henry said.
“Yes, we are here to stay. It is important to say we have a team. Arsenal fans have been waiting for a team to compete. Not one or two players, we have a squad.
“You win a title with a squad.”
Arsenal has not won the title since the 2003/2004 campaign when Henry was still playing at the club
