EPL: Potter no longer wants Chelsea’s £97m striker at Stamford Bridge
By Adeleye Kunle
Chelsea are now ready to part ways with their £97 million signing, Romelu Lukaku.
The Blues are also hoping that the Belgium international would have a good World Cup campaign to boost his value.
Chelsea signed Lukaku from Inter Milan in the 2021 summer transfer window seven years after he left Stamford Bridge.
Lukaku was, however, sent back on a season long loan to the Italian side after an underwhelming season under Thomas Tuchel.
The former Everton and Manchester United striker scored just 15 goals in 44 appearances across all competitions.
And now the Evening Standard is reporting that Lukaku is no longer wanted at Stamford Bridge by new manager, Graham Potter
